A gold-coloured and a silver-coloured ring band meet three bright stones. The picture from my portfolio shows the ring alone on a white background. This motif shows clearly which information a jewellery photo can convey for an online shop.
What makes the perspective visible
The ring is angled. Thus, the round opening, the two offset rails and the stone trim can be seen at the same time. The overlap of the shapes remains understandable. A purely frontal cut would emphasize other details; here the interplay of the two rails stands in the foreground.
Two metal colours in one picture
The warm, gold-coloured surface and the cooler, silver-coloured surface differ clearly. Bright curves and darker edges make the arch visible. The white background keeps the environment calm, while the subtle shadow under the ring gives the piece spatial depth.
The exact alloy and the type of stone cannot be determined from a photo alone. Such product details are also included in your shop text. The picture shows the visible design and does not replace this information.
Which views complement your shop
For a product page, such a main motif can be combined with further perspectives. A detailed picture can show the versions more closely, a second view the back. Photo on the model on the finger makes the effect on humans tangible. We coordinate which motives you need before shoot.
Have your ring photographed
If you offer jewellery with different surfaces or fine details, we discuss perspective, background and number of images together. Product images on white background for jewellery are created in the studio. For your products we agree in Germany & Austria a suitable shipping solution and the protection together.
Why reflections need so much attention, I explain in the article Why is jewellery so hard to photograph?
For your own products you can find here information about the offer Have Rings Photographed. An overview of image types and prices offers my Jewellery photography for online shops and brands; the jewellery photography in Berlin also describes the personal handover.
